Come and sit a while
Visit us
Everyone is welcome, whether you come for aarti, for darshan, or simply for a few quiet minutes. There is no need to book, and nothing you need to know in advance.
What to look for
The mandir is on Bank Road in Dawley Bank, in a residential terrace — numbers 20–22, so look for the pair of buildings together rather than a single shopfront.
If you reach the end of Bank Road you have gone too far. On festival days you will see people gathering outside, which is the easiest marker of all.

Getting here
However you travel
The mandir is in the Dawley Bank area of Telford. Whichever way you come, the postcode TF4 2AZ will bring you to the door.
By train
The nearest station is Telford Central, on the Shrewsbury–Wolverhampton line with connections from Birmingham. From there take a bus or taxi to Bank Road — the mandir is a little too far to walk comfortably from the station.
By bus
Telford local services run through Dawley Bank and Malinslee. Routes and timetables change from time to time, so the most reliable way to plan is a live journey planner with TF4 2AZ as your destination.
By car
Telford is reached from the M54 (junction 4 or 5). Set your satnav to TF4 2AZ. Bank Road is residential, so please park considerately and avoid blocking neighbours' driveways — especially on festival days when we are busy.
On foot & by bike
Telford's network of footpaths and cycleways connects Dawley Bank with the town centre and surrounding estates, so walking or cycling is realistic if you live locally. There is room to leave a bicycle at the mandir.
If it's your first time
What to expect
You don't need to know anything. Come as you are, sit where you like, and either follow along or simply be still. Nobody minds if you are unsure what to do.
Shoes come off at the entrance, where there is a place to leave them. Modest, comfortable clothing is best; covering your head is welcome but not required.
Aarti lasts around 30–45 minutes, with singing you are welcome to join. The words are on this site — open Aarti & Bhajans on your phone and press A+ to make the words larger.
Prasad is offered afterwards, usually with tea and conversation. Children are very welcome.
